YAY!!!! I saw the words feminism and sustainable in the title of some of the books that you are reading! Those are words I hear frequently. Two girls from scotland/england were just here with me....they were amazing and we had soo many good conversations about....sustainability, the environment, organic gardening, and of course not to mention, feminism. I have been thinking about you a lot....especially today. I imagine us at our apartment....possibly making bread together (i have a summer resolution to make bread instead of buying it). anyways....just wanted to say hi...and all that other stuff too.
love ya,

Yunus... wasn't he the one who started out lending money to women in poor communities, which lead to the creation of the micro-credit movement? We watched a video about him in cultural anthro, I think.

I hope your doing well! I'm pretty jealous that you're having such an awesome experience in el paso, and I'm stuck in E-ville feeling uncertain about my future. Take tons of photos and I can't wait to see you come August.
